The Fairytale Waltz - Solo flute and piano

The Fairytale Waltz was originally composed in 2008 as a solo piece for trumpet and piano, to my daughter Sophia. The Fairytale Waltz is a playful piece, with many surprises on the way. You can here elements of Jazz and classical music in a distance, but with a visual touch, with filmatic flow and atmosphere. The piece is both airy and drifty, sometimes more majestic and has also a slow beautiful section in it.

In 2011 it was orchestrated for full orchestra as well, exploring some of the wonderful colours of the orchestra.
