Turning Point - Big Band

Turning Point is a fun and optimistic piece, with parts of it written in the mixolydian scale; with the 7th step lowered in the major scale that is. It has a construction with repeating ostinatos, in a more funky style. 

Turning Point is also fun piece to improvise on, and you can even find a written bass solo here. 

This piece gradually evolves in a victorious way, it’s continuously building, moving towards the end; with juicy harmonies and grooves, before hitting the final chord. Take a look at it, you might not regret it.    (duration: c.4.30 min)
